Back of the Lake with Christa.

Returned to Back of the Lake with Christa on Friday for some gear climbing skills training. Christa is a very strong sport climbing (5.12!) and had followed lots of trad pitches in the past. After some practice with the gear on the ground we started ticking off a number of gear routes up to 5.9. She had no problem with the climbing and was placing excellent gear by the end of the day. I also led the classic gear route Air Voyage (5.11c) which she followed and cleaned with little trouble. All in all it was another great day at Lake Louise!
